Not everyone knows, there are a lot of people who are not familiar with this truck bed cover. This is a retractable tonneau cover also known as a roll top tonneau cover. The cover has tracks that go on each side of your pickup truck bed for the cover to travel in. It has a canister that goes at the front of your pickup box below your cabs rear window. The canister is the part of the retractable system which the tonneau cover itself retracts in and out of. This basically is how the retractable or roll top cover is designed. The Full Metal Jackrabbit tonneau cover is constructed of all metal which is powder coated and the aluminum panels are linked together with hinges that do not collect debri. This lid rides flush along your truck,s bed rails that gives it a nice low-profile sleek look. The continuous tension spring allows smooth operation with less pulling force when closing. This cover has a "Latch 'n Lok" system that enables you to bolt the cover at the tailgate or every 12 inches along the track of the tonneau. The canister is made of ABS making it lightweight, rustproof and dent proof.

   This cover requires no drilling to install. You install it with clamps. The tonneau is made in the USA and backed by a 3 year warranty.

   Some of the advantages of this tonneau cover would be the fuel savings by allowing the wind to pass over your tailgate rather than smacking into it causing a drag and an increase in gas consumption. The cover also protects your cargo from the high winds caused by driving and protects your cargo from the weather. It deters thieves with it's locking system as well as keeping your cargo out of sight, out of mind. It adds a great look to your pickup truck. And I have to mention the 3 year warranty which is a real plus compared other retractable tonneau covers. Another great advantage that comes to mind is being able to get at your truck bed quickly and easily, not by just lifting the cover up but by retracting ahead, completely out your way. Some of the disadvantages that I got from customer reviews would be maybe a slight sag in the cover. Instructions that are with it may be a little vague but can be managed with a little common sense. The price tag is a little high.
